Significance of Nursing Research

Innovation is what drives our inner self to improve the basic needs in our daily lives. It enables us to gain new things that help such situations not to be too complicated and make it work for a better purpose.

This goes for the importance of having research in nursing. It's about how making things work for nurses to render care towards patients and clients in an effective and efficient way.

Nursing research enables to help nurses as health care providers in order to gain new knowledge or methods that leads into better results and also minimize erroneous things that are still practiced in the field of rendering care.

For over hundreds of years, nursing research became the source of making improvements in the hospital setting. Its because it answers the queries that every practitioners would wonder. 

Research could give better solutions and answers towards inquisitive minds and all thanks to the lady with a lamp whom nurses and future nurses will always look up to, Florence Nightingale who made the "Environmental Theory" and started the evolution of nursing.

Her study became a framework to lessen the morbidity and mortality rate of patients during crimean war and up to this day, her theory became a timeless basis of every nurses and her principles is still used in every corners of the hospital to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.

Though nursing research may seem helpful, we all know that it is quiet a difficult process to begin with because it requires enough patience and hardwork to surpass such struggles between the lines to ensure a fruitful result. 

Scientific methods must be used in order for us to reach specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and timebound goals. Nursing research would lead to a better solution of such problems that nurses and other health care providers encounter in the field of rendering care towards client and patient in every hospital setting. 

We might help each others back in the future in a sense that we can also share our knowledge thru studies. We need to be as flexible as possible and let us enjoy ourselves in gaining knowledge about the wonders behind the practice of nursing.
