Importance of Research Design and Planning Phase

For all ages, nursing research has paved its way for the improvement and betterment of rendering care towards patients. But we all know that everything comes with a process, same as what every research go through. It is where we imply the importance of research design and planning phase. It is the part where we set our methods and patterns since it bounds to be the  framework of the study itself. 

Furthermore, research design and planning phase is indeed vital in a sense that it helps researchers to collect data and have some rational decisions for analyzing what methods they must do. Also, it helps to specify the goals that every researchers opt to achieve in a very timely and cost eficient way. This characteristics that whereof stated is what we can simply correlate to "SMART" in which it simply stands for specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bounded. 

Research design gives a big role in every study since it pertains to be its backbone or framework. As far as I could remember on what I have learned about our lessons about research, it  was stated that research design is a master plan for executing  research project. 

As an aspiring nurse, learning the vitality of research design is indeed helpful since it enables us to make our objectives into a reasonable and probable output. In this way, all of our plans in the process in completing our study becomes more efficient since following the right methods and patterns is what it makes a good research itself.
